CONCEPTUAL WORK
In my recent work, which includes spatial installations, conceptual and performative projects, I have used different working methods to approach the themes that have always preoccupied me. It is about an examination of the self, the body and the outside world. Questions of identity, fragility and transformation are addressed, as well as social and political issues.
Artistic exploration gives me access to these themes, an essential form of expression and processing to better understand the inner and outer world and to create a mediation, with the aim of developing and expressing my own narrative through sensuality, always with the aim of exploring my own feelings and thoughts, breaking through inner barriers and, above all, creating a dialog and establishing a way of communicating. The initial focus is on the concept and artistic research, while the realization is very intuitive and impulsive, exploratory and without any claim to finality. Contemporary themes are interpreted, presented and questioned symbolically, associatively and conceptually.

INBETWEEN
a multisensoric interactive textile room installation
Berlin, 2023
Exploring intimacy and human fragility while creating a vision of the space on the deep inside, portrayed as the inner living room.
Raising questions about the outside and inside world, public space and private space, the body and all the layers in between.
What impact does the outside world have on our inner world? Where is the boundary between inside and outside? What does the inside look like?
A shelter where I can drop all my shells and armor, where I am just me.
The tent represents the membrane between inside and outside. It forms a protective space, like a womb, and provides a view of the inside: a body that you look into - the inner living room. A place where you experience the outside world in a muted way, where you feel safe and pleasantly insignificant. Visitors are invited to enter the space, thus becoming a part of the work and making their own associations.
This installation was shown as part of the graduation exhibition Unfolding at Tresor, Berlin, June 2023.
research moodboard concept
Exploring intimacy and human fragility, investigating the space deep within, raising questions about the outer and inner worlds, the body and all the layers in between
In question: How do our bodies experience the events of the outside world, how are our bodies marked? What influence does a body have on the world? What shells do we put on ourselves and what remains when we take them off? Every piece of clothing can be armor, can be a facade and a uniform. To protect, to separate, to belong. Transformation refers to the change of one shape, form or structure into another, without loss of substance. Where does this substance lie and what constitutes it?
Inspiration: The works of Heidi Bucher and Louise Bourgeois in particular, which deal with the body, space and layers, pain and processing through and in the body, serve as a source of inspiration, alongside Maria Lassnig, who coined the term of body sensation.

Where do I go when I go inside myself? What does the space deep inside me look like?
A place where I can drop all my shells and armor, where I am just me... The various shells that a person puts on and with which they go through the world form the theme of this work. We use our skins and shells to build layers of armor to protect our innermost being. The textile shells are our walls to the outside world. Like insects, we humans are constantly shedding our skins between different times of day, phases and stages of life.
What are we without our shells? What influence does the outside world have on our inner world? Where is the boundary between inside and outside? What does the inside look like? These questions are explored on various levels and presented as part of an interactive, multi-sensory spatial installation.
Consisting of a walk-in tent, the inner living room: two armchairs, a table, a lamp and an olfactory installation, the tent forms the membrane between inside and outside. It forms a protective space, like a womb, and provides a view of the inside: a body that you look into - the inner living room. A place where you only experience the outside world in a muted way, where you feel safe and pleasantly insignificant.
